If the authorization is not received before discharge, the patients will have to pay full bill and only then they can go home.
  2. All cashless-TPA patients must make a deposit of Rs.5000/-at discharge because occasionally TPA deducts money from the final bill at their whim and without a good reason. In such an events, the balance amount due to the Nursing Home will be deduced from this deposit of Rs.5000/-and the remaining amount will be returned after the Nursing Home receives Final cheque from the TPA.
  3. The total responsibility of getting authorization for cashless facility rests with the patient. INHP can only assist to facilitate the procedure. Several items used form patient care are not reimbursed in ‘cashless’ scheme. The patient must pay for these items to INHP before discharge. A tentative list is available with the reception.
  4. TPAs are notorious to reject claim after authorization. In such instance the patient will have to reimburse INHP.
